St. Mary's says a sad goodbye to Professor Linda Nielsen
It is with profound sadness that the St. Mary’s University College community says goodbye to our beloved colleague Linda Nielsen, who passed away on August 28 at her home in Bragg Creek after a courageous battle with cancer. A public memorial service for Linda will be held on Saturday, September 4 at 2 pm in the Midlands Building on the St. Mary’s campus. Linda was a longtime economics professor and senior academic advisor at St. Mary's.

Catholic scholar appointed to Chair for Catholic Studies
St. Mary's theology professor and noted Catholic scholar Dr. Michael Duggan has been appointed to the CWL Chair for Catholic Studies, funded by an endowment created by the Catholic Women's League. This senior academic position will foster the advancement of Catholic knowledge and education through exemplary teaching and research.more

Federal funds help St. Mary's enhance campus facilities
Construction of an onsite water supply main is nearly complete at St. Mary’s thanks to infrastructure funding from the federal government. St. Mary’s received approval for $442,750 in matching funds to complete several campus enhancement projects. more
